Vol. 2 | December 2025
Welcome to the latest edition of our AI bulletin. This quick read shares best practice and knowledge to build our understanding of this rapidly evolving technology and how it can help us in our work.
Google’s Gemini 3, its most intelligent AI model to date, features state-of-the-art reasoning, world-leading multimodal understanding, and agentic coding. It works wonders. Read more.
In fact our marketing team is already using Gemini continually – perfecting prompts to create copy and images, amongst other things. It saves a lot of time, and provides fast, often free access to images and other items needed to keep our communications moving. While AI doesn’t replace certain tasks completely, it helps to ramp up the scale at which we can create, deploy, and measure what we do.
Gemini 3 redefines AI from a conversational assistant to a true agent that can plan, reason, use tools, and execute workflows end-to-end. With state-of-the-art reasoning, expanded multimodal context (up to 1M tokens), and major improvements in safety and robustness, it can significantly accelerate coding, analysis, and enterprise automation. Pro Tip (technical): When building with Gemini 3 via API, use the new ‘thinking_level’ parameter to tune reasoning depth: Set it to low for simple chats to reduce latency/cost, or high to maximize reasoning depth for complex problem-solving.
These internal best practice learning sessions kicked off some weeks ago, with one of our colleagues presenting a new tool each week. Tips, tricks and tools can be found in this folder. Read more.
So far, we’ve examined how AI helps with content writing and image creation. We’ve also seen the incredible things that can be built with Google AI studio – everything from a newsletter to an app. More to come!
Here are some of the latest developments, which are already having an impact on the day to day for our teams.
The Legal team often deals with a high volume of contracts and legal documents. ContractLex is an AI-powered extraction engine designed to streamline this process by:
This enables the team to efficiently prioritize documents and focus attention where it is most needed, while also keeping a count of uploaded documents.
When vendors send enquiries about the status of their invoices, VendorRecon is here to help. It does so in a few ways:
Our Agentic AI–powered solution significantly accelerates and improves the consistency of the SOX testing process. SOX testing is important, it verifies the internal controls used for financial reporting, to ensure compliance. Our solution works by:
This automation supports the accurate, automated generation of SOX-compliant reports, drastically reducing manual effort and enhancing audit readiness across the organization.
Automation is at work everyday, both for us and for our clients. Here are some examples of the difference AI-powered automation can make. Let’s take a look at PCH. Read more.
Document Summary AI is an advanced, AI-driven capability designed to automatically summarize healthcare documents stored in the DocDNA and PCH repositories. It leverages OCR and Large Language Models (LLMs) to read, interpret, and generate concise, meaningful summaries of medical and administrative records. This enables payers to quickly understand the clinical context without manually reviewing lengthy documents. Key features include:
Credential Exposure Monitoring – This Agentic AI solution has strengthened our security posture by automating the monitoring and remediation of leaked credentials. AI agents continuously scan the Flare platform to detect any user credentials exposed on untrusted or unauthorized sites. When a potential compromise is identified, the system instantly triggers a fully automated remediation workflow. The agents validate the affected account details and enforce a mandatory password reset, ensuring rapid containment and preventing unauthorized access.
This proactive, AI-driven approach has not only reduced response time but also minimized manual intervention, delivering a stronger, faster, and more reliable defense against credential-based threats.
Utility Bills Extraction – This automation initiative is already a success. In the first phase, our team showcased the Agentic AI–powered solution to a customer. It got highly positive feedback and we are now awaiting final approval for rollout.
Using advanced Agentic AI, the system automatically extracts data from utility bills and posts the information directly into the client’s portal – eliminating extensive manual work. This has resulted in an 80% reduction in manual effort, driving significant time and cost savings for the client. The successful phase-one demonstration set the foundation for full-scale deployment and further automation opportunities.
While AI is ubiquitous in many of our solutions, one key area it’s been helping us to succeed is with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), which is part of the project we’ve undertaken for the General Records Office in the UK. Read more.
This organisation holds birth, marriage and death records dating back to 1837. Digitally transforming these records is complex due to the variety of record types, evolving formats, diverse text styles (including cursive) and the deteriorating condition of some physical records. XBP’s AI-powered IDP solution has been transformational, offering a range of benefits:
That’s it for this bulletin, tune into the next one in two weeks time!
